Graveside services for Johnnie Campbell Orr, age 89 of Garland will be held in
the Grove Hill Cemetery in Dallas, Texas at 2:00 PM on September 19, 2014. A
brief service will be officiated by Elwin Campbell, a son. Services are directed
by Scott Funeral Home of Saint Jo, Texas. Johnnie died Wednesday, September 17,
2014 in Bowie.
Johnnie was born in Sulphur Springs, Texas on August 28, 1925. She was the daughter of John Van Buren Finch and Maude Harris Finch. She married John Campbell in 1945. They were the parents of a son Elwin “Sam” Campbell and daughter, Valda Vierling. There are 5 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.
