Vada was the daughter of
T.S. Cable, Jr. and Ola Faye Posey Cable. She was born on October 16, 1950 in
Nocona, Texas. She was the granddaughter of Tom and Belle McGrady Cable.
She grew on Clear Creek
and attended school in Saint Jo, graduating in 1969.

While living in Saint Jo
she had a daycare in her home. After moving to Gainesville, she worked at

of those are here today.
Vada loved family get-togethers,

She enjoyed her kids,
especially her grandchildren. Her nieces always said “Call Aunt Vada. She'll
know what to do.” She had great problem solving skills.
Among Vada's many interests
were a love for camping and fishing. Her sons remember the fun trips to the
"upper lake" to catch the big one. She also loved helping friends
with parties and celebrations. She had a knack for decorating and preparing
party foods. Going to the Casino with her friend Gary Droll would always be a
fun time.
Friends and family will
remember fondly time spent with Vada. She will be missed.
