Richard “Rick” Carl Parker, age 64, lived in Saint Jo, TX for the last 13
years. He went to be with Jesus on July 7, 2015. Funeral services were

Snow and C.E. Russell. Burial followed in Mountain Park Cemetery under the
direction of Scott Funeral Home in Saint Jo. A visitation was held Friday, July
10, 2015 at the funeral home in Saint Jo.
Rick was born July 1, 1951 in San Antonio, TX to Jimmie Burris Parker and Doris (Young) Parker Cook. In 1970, Rick moved to the Dallas area where he met his wife, Debbie at church. They became the proud parents of four children.
Rick enjoyed attending church with his family and being a Christian. Rick’s faith in God helped him through his very painful illness and he gave God praise until his last day on Earth.
He worked hard his entire life to provide for his family. Rick wanted his family involved in everything he did. He loved country life, vacations, camping and a little hunting and fishing.
We miss him greatly, as he was the rock of our family.
Rick is survived by his wife, Debbie (Gray) Parker of Saint Jo; daughters: Debbie and Shane Villars of Lake Dallas, Lisa and Scott Cook of Sanger, and Krystle and Jimmy Holley of Saint Jo; son, Richard Carl “Bubba” Parker, II and Shawna Parker of Saint Jo; grandchildren: Dawson, Wesley, Garrett, Carla, Caitlyn, Sarah, Derek, Paityn, Bailey, and Lannie; and mother, Doris Parker Cook of Lake Dallas. He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmie Burris Parker and his brother, Johnie William Parker.
