Imogene was born on September 1, 1923 in Alma, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Robert Earnest and Martha Pascall. Her mother died when she was three years of age. Earnest then, somewhat later, married Florence Donley. He and Florence were the parents of three sons and a daughter.
Imogene married J.W. Buck on September 13, 1941 in Montague County. They moved to the West Texas town of Vega when she about 18 years of age. They moved back to Saint Jo in 2005. J.W. died on August 12, 2009. Imogene continued living in Saint Jo until her death. J.W. and Imogene were the parents of four children, a daughter and three sons.
Imogene was a lovely, loving wife and mother. She busied herself caring for the family and grandchildren. She always had a vegetable garden and she canned food raised in her garden for the family’s use. She perhaps, even gave some of the garden products to friends and neighbors.
Imogene enjoyed cooking, sewing, canning, gardening and most of all, just being a wife, mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed.
Imogene was a devout member of the Church of Christ.
Imogene is survived by: her daughter, Melody and husband Dennis Barkley of Gordonville, TX; sons and wives: Billy D. and Kay Buck of New Braunfels, TX, Denzil R. and Lyn Buck of Georgetown, TX, and Donald K and Sandy Buck of New Braunfels, TX; sister: Jane and her husband, Ralph Dennis of Big Springs, TX; brothers: John Pascall of Houston, TX, Martin and wife Lisa Pascall of Nocona, TX; and Steve Pascall of Nocona, TX; eight grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren. The family requests memorials be made to the Saint Jo Church of Christ or to a charity of your choice.
