A Mass
of Christian Burial for Irene Eva Luttmer Sicking is set for 10:00 AM, Monday,
May 11, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Ken Robinson officiating.
Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery under the direction of Scott
Funeral Home in Muenster. A Rosary & Vigil will be held at 7:00 PM, Sunday,
May 10, 2015 at the funeral home in Muenster. Mrs. Sicking died Friday, May 8,
2015.
Mrs. Sicking was born in Gainesville on November 11, 1921 to John and Mary Luttmer. She was a simple and quiet woman who was a hard worker. She loved flowers, gardens, animals and working on a dairy farm.
She is survived by her: daughter, Doris and husband Cecil Hermes of Sherman; son, Don Sicking of Myra; three grandchildren: JoAnn Beaty, Doug Hermes, and Gina Robinson; six great grandchildren: DeAnn Beaty, Jalaina Beaty, Brittany Beaty, Luke Robinson, Anthony Robinson, and Rachel Hermes; and two great great-grandchildren: Taylor and Parker Skipworth. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Luttmer; husband, Alfred Sicking; sisters: Gertie and Elsie; brothers: Arthur, Joe, and Leonard Luttmer; daughter, Lynette and son, Alvin.
Pallbearers were: Riley Beaty, Cliff Sicking, Keneth Sicking, David Sicking, Jimmy Mosman, and Don Mosman.
