Mass of Christian
Burial for Tammy Sue Brown, age 49 of Nocona, is set for 10:00 AM, Thursday,
June 25, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Ken Robinson
officiating. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery under the direction of
Scott Funeral Home of Muenster. A Rosary and Vigil will be held 6:00 PM,
Wednesday at Scott Funeral Home of Muenster. Tammy Sue died Sunday, June 21,
2015.
Tammy Sue (Grewing)
Brown was one of nine children. She was born to Anthony Fred and Janie
(Henscheid) Grewing on April 3, 1966 in Muenster. She attended and graduated
Sacred Heart School and was a member of Sacred Heart Church.
Tammy was a Certified
Nurses’ Aide and worked many years as a cook at the Center restaurant. She also
worked at Boeing and recently at Muenster Memorial Hospital as a dietary aide,
where she made lifelong friends.
Tammy loved spending
time with her siblings and friends on their many trips to the lake camping and
fishing. She loved her numerous pets, being at the river and the lake and
working in her flower beds and yard. Tammy loved to cook and can vegetables
from her garden. It meant so much to her to have so many people pray for her
and show her so much love and support during her fight with cancer and for that
she was truly grateful.
Tammy is survived by
her: husband, Billy Brown of Nocona; mother: Linda Luttmer; son, Taylor
Scott-Thomas Haster of Fort Worth; sisters: Julie Ann and husband, Greg
Walterscheid of Highland Village, Shawna Marie Herr of Muenster, Michelle Gray
of Muenster, and Katherine Luttmer of Muenster; brothers: Tony and wife, Billie
Grewing of Muenster, Jon and wife, Janette of Muenster, Kenneth and wife, Katie
Grewing of Muenster and Matthew Grewing and Anna McCourry of Muenster; and
seventeen nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and
grandparents.
Pallbearers are:
brothers: Tony Grewing, Jon Grewing, Kenneth Grewing, and Matthew Grewing,
Godson, Eric Walterscheid, and Stepson, Michael Brown.
