Thelma Margaret Fette Trubenbach

     Mass of Christian Burial for Thelma Margaret Trubenbach, age 99 of Muenster was held at 10:00 AM Monday, November 18, 2013. A Rosary/Vigil was held at 6:00 PM Sunday. All services were at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Muenster. Burial was in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Services were officiated by Rev. Ken Robinson and directed by McCoy Funeral Home of Muenster. Mrs. Trubenbach died Friday morning, November 15, 2013 in her home.
     Born August 4, 1914 in Muenster, Thelma was one of the 4 daughters of Conrad and Erna Huchton Fette. She was born in Muenster and has lived here all her life. She attended Sacred Heart through the 10th grade and graduated Our Lady of Victory in Fort Worth.
     Thelma married Tony Trubenbach on October 6, 1936 in Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was a lifetime member of Sacred Heart. Thelma was also a long time member of Catholic Daughters.
     Thelma and Tony, together, enjoyed their life together. They really liked nature in general, taking drives in the country, viewing the wild flowers and just the countryside to see the baby calves. They also loved traveling, for enjoyment as well as for business. Thelma loved baking, sewing and her family and friends. She and Tony were involved in farming and ranching. They were owners of Tony’s Feed and Seed for many years. There she busied herself as bookkeeper.
     Thelma and Tony had celebrated their 77th wedding anniversary on October 6, 2013. Thelma was a lovely lady and a friend to many. She will be greatly missed!
     Thelma is survived by her husband Tony, a sister, Agnes Stormer and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Conrad and Erna Fette, and three sisters, Della Hartman, Sister Annette Fette and Isabell Fette.
     Pallbearers were: Don Hartman, Wayne Trubenbach, Tom Hartman, Loyd Trubenbach, Roy Hartman and Mike Trubenbach. Honorary pallbearers were: Joe Hellman, Larry Hennigan, Jimmy Jack Biffle and Spunky Adams.
     The family requests memorials be made to Cal Farley’s Boys Ranch, PO Box 1890, Amarillo, Texas 79174.
