Graveside services for Paty Spearman Boyle, age 93 of Muenster, are set for
1:00 PM, Friday, August 1, 2014 at Restland Cemetery in Dallas, TX with Rev.
Ken Robinson officiating and under the direction of Scott Funeral Home of
Muenster. Mrs. Boyle died at her home on Monday, July 28, 2014.
One of two children, Paty was born on March 2, 1921 in Fairfield, AL to Braxton R. and Grace P. (Sain) Spearman. On March 23, 1946, she married John Hartford Boyle in Chattanooga, TN. They raised their five children, one daughter and four sons, in Allen, TX.
Paty’s favorite things were reading books and needlework. She especially loved to travel to London, Paris and Ireland. Paty was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Muenster. She will be missed by all those who knew her.
Paty is survived by her: daughter, Sharon Boyle Rivers and husband, Jon of Forestburg; sons: John Michael Boyle and wife, Pam of Huntington Beach, CA, Robert Hartford Boyle and wife, Debby of Corpus Christi, TX, Patrick Joseph Boyle and wife, Penny of Plano, TX and Timothy Richard Boyle and wife, Mary of Honey Grove, TX; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother and her husband, John Hartford Boyle.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Scottish Rite Children’s Hospital or a charity of your choice.
