Lisa Ann Blanton Fleitman

     Funeral services for Lisa Ann Blanton Fleitman are scheduled for 6:00 PM Sunday, November 24, 2013 at the McCoy Funeral Chapel in Muenster. Rev. Ken Robinson will officiate. A second service will be held at the Comyn Baptist Church in Comyn, Texas at 2:00 PM Saturday, November 30, 2013. Pastor Ray Seckinger will officiate the service in Comyn. Burial will be in Comyn Baptist Cemetery. Services are directed by McCoy Funeral Home, Muenster, Texas.
     Mrs. Fleitman died November 16, 2014 at North Texas Medical Center in Gainesville.
     Born December 28, 1979 in Dublin, Texas, Lisa was one of the four daughters of Don and Carolyn Barnes Blanton. She grew up and attended school in Stephenville.
     Lisa married Matthew Fleitman on July 11, 2008. She was the mother of two sons, Quentin and Collin. Lisa was a lovely lady, making friends wherever she went. Her primary occupation was just being a great homemaker.
     Lisa is survived by her: sons: Quentin and Collin Peacock; parents: Don and Carolyn Blanton, of the Bay City area; sisters: Jan Blanton Murphy of Sargent, TX and Diana Blanton Carroll of Pearl City, Hawaii. She was preceded in death by her sister Diane Blanton.
     Pallbearers are: David Murphy, Tom Carroll, Jack Carroll, Mark Fleitman, Jimmy Prescher, and Ben Fleitman, Jr.

Thelma Margaret Fette Trubenbach

     Mass of Christian Burial for Thelma Margaret Trubenbach, age 99 of Muenster was held at 10:00 AM Monday, November 18, 2013. A Rosary/Vigil was held at 6:00 PM Sunday. All services were at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Muenster. Burial was in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Services were officiated by Rev. Ken Robinson and directed by McCoy Funeral Home of Muenster. Mrs. Trubenbach died Friday morning, November 15, 2013 in her home.
     Born August 4, 1914 in Muenster, Thelma was one of the 4 daughters of Conrad and Erna Huchton Fette. She was born in Muenster and has lived here all her life. She attended Sacred Heart through the 10th grade and graduated Our Lady of Victory in Fort Worth.
     Thelma married Tony Trubenbach on October 6, 1936 in Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was a lifetime member of Sacred Heart. Thelma was also a long time member of Catholic Daughters.
     Thelma and Tony, together, enjoyed their life together. They really liked nature in general, taking drives in the country, viewing the wild flowers and just the countryside to see the baby calves. They also loved traveling, for enjoyment as well as for business. Thelma loved baking, sewing and her family and friends. She and Tony were involved in farming and ranching. They were owners of Tony’s Feed and Seed for many years. There she busied herself as bookkeeper.
     Thelma and Tony had celebrated their 77th wedding anniversary on October 6, 2013. Thelma was a lovely lady and a friend to many. She will be greatly missed!
     Thelma is survived by her husband Tony, a sister, Agnes Stormer and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Conrad and Erna Fette, and three sisters, Della Hartman, Sister Annette Fette and Isabell Fette.
     Pallbearers were: Don Hartman, Wayne Trubenbach, Tom Hartman, Loyd Trubenbach, Roy Hartman and Mike Trubenbach. Honorary pallbearers were: Joe Hellman, Larry Hennigan, Jimmy Jack Biffle and Spunky Adams.

Everett Doyle Castle

     Funeral Services for Everett Doyle Castle, age 85 of Saint Jo, were held at 2:00 PM Friday, November 15, 2013 at the First Baptist Church in Saint Jo. Burial was in the Illinois Bend Cemetery. Services were officiated by Rev. Jeff Roe and directed by McCoy Funeral Home of Saint Jo.
     Doyle died at his home on November 12, 2013.
     Doyle was born July 12, 1928 to Virginia Frazier and Everett O. “Shorty” Castle.
     Doyle grew up in Illinois Bend and attended school there through the 8th grade. He then rode the school bus to Saint Jo for 4 more years. He graduated in 1946.
     He went to work in the oil field in the local area until going into the Army. He served from November 30, 1950 – November 29, 1952 as a Military Police Officer.
     After his discharge from the Army, Doyle returned to the oil field business in Saint Jo and ended up working in New Mexico, and Colorado. He met Betty Cowan in Cortez, CO and they married in 1960.
     Doyle and Betty traveled throughout the west as Doyle was working for Arapahoe Drilling as a Tool Pusher.
     They settled in Farmington, NM and lived there for 20 years, raising their three boys.
     In 1981 they moved to Saint Jo, where they have lived ever since.
Doyle enjoyed working outdoors at his Illinois Bend farm/ranch, and each day, he enjoyed his morning coffee and discussions with his friends at the Saint Jo Dairy Queen.
     Doyle joined the First Baptist Church of Saint Jo on May 7, 2006 and loved learning lessons in his Sunday School class.
     Doyle is survived by his wife Betty, his son Doyle Castle and wife Cindy, granddaughter Katie and husband Riley Thomas, granddaughter Christy Castle, great grand kids, Collin and Addi Thomas and his brother Don Castle and his wife Jo and numerous nieces and nephews.
     Doyle was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Bloyce Castle, and Young Darnell, sisters, Marie Johnson and Lavern Tramell and his sons Daniel and Donald Castle.
     Doyle was a hard worker with a kind smile and a gentle manner toward anyone he encountered.

Vernie McWhirter

     Funeral services for Vernie McWhirter, age 84 of Saint Jo were held at 2:00 PM Saturday, November 9, 2013 at the Saint Jo First Baptist Church. Services were officiated by Rev. William A. “Sonny” Steed and Rev. Jeff Roe and directed by McCoy Funeral Home of Saint Jo. Burial was in Mountain Park Cemetery in Saint Jo. Visitation was held from 5 PM until 7 PM Friday at the First Baptist Church.
    Vernie Cloyce McWhirter, 84 of Saint Jo, Texas, died Thursday, November 7, 2013. He was born to the late Elby Clinton and Mary Alice (Turnbull) McWhirter on December 19, 1928, in Roby, Texas. Vernie graduated from Roby High School and attended Texas Tech University, where he met his wife of over 65 years, Laura Elizabeth Burns. They were married on February 9, 1948.
     Vernie was a Petroleum Engineer for 41 years for Lane Wells, which later became Dresser Industries, serving as Vice President of North American Operations prior to his retirement. After his retirement, he and Laura relocated from Pearland, Texas to Katy Lake, Saint Jo, Texas where they have made their home for over twenty years.
     He was the current Municipal Judge, an active member of First Baptist Church, the Chamber of Commerce, the Historical Society and was active in revitalizing the town of Saint Jo and his beloved Katy Lake. Vernie loved to travel and has seen much of our nation and world but his favorite times were when he was whit his family and friends, anyplace, anytime.
     Vernie is survived by four children: Ronny McWhirter and wife, Mary Ann; Vicky Prebilsky and husband, Wayne; Alisa Raney and husband, Marvin and Luanne Coffee and husband, David. He was blessed with 14 grandchildren and 6 ½ great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and great-granddaughter, Tayler Belmer.
     Vernie believed in God as his Creator, Sustainer, and Provider and accepted Jesus as his Savior when he was a young father. He had a quiet faith but it permeated his life and gave him the reason to serve God’s kingdom. Because of this we know that he is waiting for us in heaven with the people who went before. He will be missed.

Carolyn Kaye Moore Nissen

     Memorial Services for Carolyn Kaye Moore Nissen, age 71 of Montague County were scheduled for 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at the McCoy Funeral Chapel in Saint Jo. Services were officiated by Mike Warton and directed by McCoy Funeral Home of Saint Jo. Ms. Nissen died November 11, 2013.
     Carolyn Kaye Nissen was born April 1, 1942 in Muenster, Texas to Cecil and Marie Moore. She spent most of her growing up years in Dallas, Texas and later, like in many places before settling on the family farm, in Saint Jo, Texas. She was a model, attended nursing school, and helped whomever she could. She loved her children, her family and her God with all her heart. She died in her home north of Saint Jo.
     Kaye is survived by two children: Joel Wyatt of Richardson, TX and Donna Moore of Walters, OK, a brother, Don Moore of Granbury, TX and five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
     Kaye was preceded in death by her parents, Marie and Cecil Moore, her grandparents, Blanche and Walter McLaughlin, and 2 uncles, Ed and Ray McLaughlin as well as her Grandmother Moore, whom she adored.

Clyde Wesley Yetter

     Funeral services for Clyde Wesley Yetter, Jr. age 93 of Saint Jo were held at 10:00 AM Saturday, November 2, 2013 at the McCoy Funeral Chapel in Saint Jo. Services were officiated by Rev. Joe Gambill and directed by McCoy Funeral Home. Burial followed in Mountain Park Cemetery in Saint Jo. A visitation period was held at 5:00 to 6:00 PM, Friday, November 1, 2013 at the funeral home. Mr. Yetter died at 7:10 AM Wednesday, October 30 in Nocona. Clyde died October 30, 2013.
     Clyde was born April 3, 1920 in Dallas, Texas to Edith Caroline (Priddy) and Clyde W. Yetter, Sr. He graduated from Saint Jo High School in May of 1938, Paris Junior College in May of 1940 and received a BA in business from Baylor University in 1950. He enlisted into the US Marine Corp and served as a Gunnery Sergeant from 1941 to 1945. He earned five battle stars. First and Second Battles of Midway, Roi-Namur (Marshalls), Tinien (Marianas) and Okinawa.
     January 24, 1946 Clyde married Sue Bryan Crenshaw in Oxford, NC and together they raised three children. He was an active member of the Presbyterian Church, the Masonic Lodge and established the Saint Jo Meals on Wheels. He served as Treasurer of both the Quarterback Club and Men’s Luncheon Club. He retired in 1990 from the First National Bank where he worked for 40 years. Clyde was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and held season tickets for many years.
     Clyde is survived by a son, Eddie and wife Sara of Saint Jo; daughter, Mary Edith and husband Butch Eldridge of Era; daughter, Susan Yetter of Saint Jo. A sister, Dorothy Cole of Colorado; brother-in-law, Hatcher Crenshaw of Virginia; and sister-in-law Sue Yetter of North Richland Hills. He is also survived by two grandchildren; Marty of Era and Christina of Dallas; two great-grandchildren: Ryan and Caitlyn of Era.
     He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: J. E. and Charles Yetter and his wife, Sue (Crenshaw) Yetter.
     Pallbearers were: Bill Tom Meador, Stan Field, Tommie Sappington, Cotton Brawner, Terry Dunn, and Bob Langford. Honorary pallbearers were: Elaine Kingery, Judy Johnston, Marsha Foster, and Bill Payne.

Clara Amelia (Lutkenhaus) Wilde

     Mass of Christian Burial for Clara Amelia (Lutkenhaus) Wilde, age 96 of Muenster was held at 10:00 AM Thursday, October 31, 2013 in Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Muenster. A Rosary/Vigil was held at 6:00 PM Wednesday, October 30 at McCoy Funeral Home in Muenster. Burial was in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Services were officiated by Rev. Ken Robinson and directed by McCoy Funeral Home. Mrs. Wilde died at 9:20 AM Tuesday, October 29, at the Muenster Health and Rehab Center.
    Born July 30, 1917 in Muenster, Clara was one of the 9 children of Henry Joseph and Frances Muck Lutkenhaus. She grew up and was a lifelong resident of Muenster. She attended school in Muenster, then married Richard Wilde on April 18, 1939 in Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was a lifetime member of Sacred Heart.
     Clara and Richard were the parents of 2 sons. She was a homemaker, spending most of her time caring for the boys.
     Clara is survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard, two sons, Melvin and Robert Dale Wilde, three sisters, Odelia Detten, “Sis” Felderhoff, Marie Lutkenhaus and five brothers, Arthur “Bobby”, Alex, Hugo, Bill and Harold Lutkenhaus and her parents Henry Joseph and Frances Lutkenhaus.
     Pallbearers were: Troy Lutkenhaus, Daniel Lutkenhaus, Greg Hoenig, Kenny Felderhoff, Ross Felderhoff and Donny Lutkenhaus.
