Graveside services for Maria H. Gonzalez De Rodriguez, age 66 of Muenster was
held at 4:00 PM Sunday, March 16, 2014 at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Muenster.
Services were officiated by Rev. Ken Robinson and directed by Scott Funeral
Home of Muenster.
Mrs. Gonzalez died Thursday, March 13, 2014 in Muenster.
Born December 16, 1947 in San Pablo, Mexico, Mrs. Gonzalez was the daughter of Luis and Petra Garcia Gonzalez.
Maria worked most of her life in Mexico as a Nanny. She and Leo met in Mexico in February 1968. They were later married in Decatur, Texas in 1994. They have lived in Muenster for the past 10 years.
Maria enjoyed life. Her favorite things involved cooking, gardening and crocheting. She was a great family lady, the mother of one daughter.
Survivors include: her husband, Leonardo Rodriguez of Muenster; daughter, Rachel Rodriguez of Muenster; and four grandchildren: Anthony, Mariela, Leslie, and Robi. She was preceded in death by her parents, Luis and Petra Gonzalez.
