Graveside
service for Douglas Hackett, age 56, is set for 3:30 PM, Sunday, January 4,
2015 at Mountain Park Cemetery in Saint Jo. Visitation will be 2:00 to 3:00 PM
at Scott Funeral Home in Saint Jo. Mr. Hackett died Friday, January 2, 2015 in
Gainesville, TX.
Douglas Wayne
Hackett was born on May 30, 1958 in Amarillo, TX to Colenn Hackett and Shirley
Hall. He loved collecting guns and knives and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Douglas was a very generous and thoughtful man, friend, nephew, and brother and
was always willing to help.
Douglas is survived
by his: companion, Laura Branch of Gainesville; sister, Lisa Foxworth;
brothers: Steven and wife, Gayla Knall of Gainesville, Mike Hall and Mary
Turner of Durant, OK, and Billy Hall of Tennessee Colony, Texas; father, Colenn
Hackett; and his aunt, Billie Grigsby of Saint Jo. He was preceded in death by
his wife, Ann Hackett, mother, Shirley Hall, and his nephew, Michael Hall, Jr.
