One of six
children, Jean was born in Hardy, Texas on October 18, 1926 to Albert and Ada
(Oral) Jackson. She married Houston Ensey in Saint on October 14, 1944. They
were married for sixty-two years when he died. They were the proud parents of
one daughter, Beverly. Jean and Houston lived in Bakersfield, California for 45
years where she worked for City of Bakersfield Credit Union.
Jean is
survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Beverly and Bill Eason of Dallas,
Texas and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her
husband, Houston Ensey; her parents, Albert and Ada (Oral) Jackson; her
brothers: Ted Jackson, Joe Jackson, Hob Jackson and Hoss Jackson; and her
sister, Eula Steen.
